- 1969 – John Lennon changes his middle name from Winston to Ono, taking his second wife, Yoko Ono’s, surname.
Lennon was a modernist and a true feminist and great peace activist. Yes, men can be feminist too. Proper feminism is about equal rights, not overpowering men. I believe neither sex, race or sexuality has the right to overpower another. I am believer of equal rights as well. Am a gentleman to a lady, and bitch to a bitch. Thus a great believer in feminism myself.
