Fellow Film Buffs: Gingerella (in front) in a playful stance; whilst Nudin (in the back) looks on
Three3 Things about myself :-
1. My two Dogs (Gingerella & Nudin Sen), are the best thing that happened to my life; and the only good thing in this Dog forsaken country, that I happen to live in.
2. I detest the country I live in (although I hate hating), the country of my unfortunate roots (not my birth, thankfully); and I have 41 years of depressing experiences of reasons for it (I am not going to tell you my whole life story now, am I 😛 ).
3. Being an untouched loner, I long to have a good partner; with a good, kind, heart, and intellect; someday (sooner the better). ❤

Here are the Questions that ‘I’ have to answer:-

A.2 Gone with the Wind (1939)
Q.3 What is one hairstyle you would like to try?
A.3 That’s hard to say, I’ve practically done everything I liked, from Billy Idol/Grease look/Elvis blend -minus the gel (teens n’ 20’s), to floppy long locks with Beatle Bangs/Parveen Babi Bangs (30’s; as you can see on my Gravatar image); the Mohawk/Mr. T look doesn’t really interest me (It’s just not me). So I really don’t know!!!! 😦 What else is there left to try?? Now, I’ve re-cut it really short.
Q.4 What is one project or new hobby you would like to start?
A.4 Something in the Arts field; but again, I’ve tried a lot of stuff, I don’t know. What’s new??
Q.5 What is your favourite song?
A.5 Imagine by John Lennon

I know how it feels to despise the country you were born and bred in. I’m in exactly the same boat. Anyway, enough of that, congratulations on the award, here are my answers…
Q.1 What’s your favourite film adaptation of a novel you have read?
To Kill a Mockingbird.
Q.2 What’s your favourite film adaptation of a novel you have not read?
The Friends of Eddie Coyle.
Q.3 Who is your favourite film character? And Why?
Private Witt from The Thin Red Line. I see a lot of myself in him.
Q.4 If you could go back into the 20th century, which classic celebrity, who died last century, would you like to meet?
Tough one. J.F.K. Marilyn Monroe, Hank Williams, Martin Luther King, Vince Lombardi, there’s so many to choose from.
Q.5 Who is/are the actor(s)/actress(es) of today, still in their early 20’s, you would like to get naked with, in real life? (Crazy/Weird/Naughty Question) 😀
Would Kristen Stewart qualify? If not Chloe Moretz or Saoirse Ronan would do!
To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) is a superb choice, one of my personal favourites!! Great list of answers!!!
To clarify one thing, I actually wasn’t born n’ bread in Sri Lanka; but am a Lankan citizen {as my parents (who are Sri Lankan; thus, as are my roots) registered me here, when I was born; and at the age of 21, I proudly went and confirmed my Lankan citizenship (Yeah! that was long time ago)}. Having a lot of patience, and having gone through so much trouble, around the globe, ’cause of Lankans in general, it was only in my mid-30’s that I started despising this county. Finally had enough of it, and unfortunately got stuck here.
I was born in New Delhi, India, and it was only at the age 12½, that we came to live in this hideous dump, of extremist, narrow minded people. And sadly, the most crucial years of my teens (12½ to 18½) took place here. And now, again I got stuck here, from the age of 34 on wards, till date!! 😦
P.S. Kristen Stewart is way too old!! 😉 Ha!!
Kristen Stewart is not too old but….
Ha!! Ha!! No she isn’t. But in this regard she is. She’s 27, and my question was in regard to celebs in their early 20’s.
I’m just trying to help Paul hook up with Kristen Stewart. 🙂
Ha!! Ha!! How kind of you!! 😉
Haha. Always keen to help a mate out. 🙂
The thought of hooking up with Kristen Stewart has got me all hot and bothered.
Cheers Lloyd!
Mate you can do better but the heart wants what the heart wants.
Ha!! Ha!! You two Dodo’s seem to have forgotten, that she is a lesbian. So Good Luck with that!! 😛
I personally don’t find her very sexually attractive, but I really like her as an actress, when she comes in good roles, in films like; Into the Wild (2007), On the Road (2012) & Clouds of Sils Maria (2014); to name some.
She is currently a lesbian and sometimes sexuality can be fluid. In any event the heart wants what the heart wants. Jennifer Garner is my girl and she’s married. 🙂 I wish Paul the best of luck with Miss Stewart.
I’ll get my coat!
Ha!! Ha!! Go for it Paul!!
Great post. Btw, I saw your topic for the upcoming Villains blogathon and cannot wait to read it. I am intrigued by it.
Oh Thank you!!! Am looking forward to getting it done, I started working on it!!
Congrats Nuwan.
Cheers!! 🙂
I am just seeing this now!!! It is great to learn about other people beyond what is shown on the blog 😀
Thanks Charlene,
Yes, Blog Awards truly are a way of getting to know people. Although I’ve actually done quite a few personal posts, as well!!
Indeed. I will delve more into everyone’s blog when I get a chance!!
