Leo Da Vinci all together … I admire Di Caprio immensely though.
And I reckon all my answers wud result in (a)
All da Vinci related!! Great!!!
Except for No.4, which is actually 4 questions; “What” is your favourite …..? DiCaprio Film? da Vinci Painting? et al!!!
I love ‘Vitruvian man’ from Vinci… hands-down.
For di caprio movie… out of numerous I wud say, ‘what’s eating gilbert grape’….awesome, loved him in it.
I love Vitruvian Man myself!!
I love DiCaprio is What’s Eating Gilbert Grape (1993). That’s the role he should have won an Oscar for!!
Touche’
yes it was an Oscar worthy performance … finally it happened in Revenant.
Cheers Caprio fans 😀 😀
Neither was The Revenant (2015) HIS best performance, nor the best among the male acting category of 2015! Leonardo DiCaprio, definitely deserved the nomination (he was superb as always), but not the win.
Eddie Redmayne was even better. He ought to have won for his perfect performance in The Danish Girl (2015).
O haven’t seen ‘The Danish girl’…. now its on my check list 🙂
It’s a touching portrayal of a transgender person. Yes, pls do check it out!! 🙂
Q.1° Given the chance to be a famous ‘Leonardo’ in your life, which Leo would You prefer to be? And Why?
c) A combination of both – Because hey, a Super Freaking Genius with looks that most girls would acctually die for. (I’m just saying but I think I can appreciate what I’m now even though sometimes I just want to f*cking kill myself. . . 👍😂👊
Q.2° If, to the previous question, your answer was (c); which of these combined traits would you like to own? [You may answer, if you wish to, even if your answer for the previous question wasn’t (c)]
b) Da Vinci’s Artistic Talent & Di Caprio’s Looks (Because Acting talent is something I can gather or achieve myself with Da Vinci’s Artistic Talent or even just with that “Head of his” alone. Plus I’d rather have De Niro’s talent, Leo’s mentor and godfather, since Leo owes his whole career to De Niro). 😎 🎬
Q.3° Which of these would like to possess?
a) Da Vinci’s (approximately) 550 years of fame, as one of the most celebrated artists in the world
(Multiply that by 2 since it’s 2017, you know, internet and s*it and all . . . but I think a mix of absolute power and popularity would corrupt and develop an absolute egocentric disease….
Absolutely! ~{◣_◢}/
Q.4° What is your favourite :-
a) Da Vinci Scientific/futuristic artwork – (no explanation needed. But some of his weird but extraordinary and necessary inventions include: Geometry, parabolic compass, concepts of Bridges and even created a movable dyke just to survive a flood, Parachute and aerial screw which became the now – “Helicopter” and of course who would’ve thought, he would invent the mechanism behind “Machine Guns” aka the “Little Friends” we all love. His “33-barrelled organ,” wasn’t a machine gun in the modern sense. It couldn’t fire multiple bullets rapidly out of a single barrel. It could, however, deliver punishing volleys of gunfire at rapid intervals and, if it had been built, would have effectively mowed-down oncoming infantry. The mechanism behind the machine gun is simple. Da Vinci proposed mounting 11 muskets side by side on a rectangular board, then attaching three such boards together in a triangular arrangement. By placing a shaft down the middle, the entire contraption could be rotated, so that one set of 11 guns could be fired while a second set cooled off and a third set was being reloaded. Then the entire mechanism could be rotated to bring the loaded set to the top where it could be fired again. )
the list would go on and on…. 。◕ ‿ ◕。
Q.5° If you could, which of these would you like to do?
c) Both – Actually I want both of them to meet me 👈😋
Wow!!! Thanks man, for delving so deep into my questions. You have some really good explanations as to why you like whom/which/what.
Robert De Niro is another brilliant person (assuming he is the De Niro, you are speaking of). I wasn’t aware De Niro was DiCaprio’s mentor. Makes sense though. Scorsese/De Niro collaborations were exceptional, back in the day, prior to the Scorsese/DiCaprio collaborations.
da Vinci’s 33 Barrelled Organ, Helicopter, Machine Gun; are all incredible choices. Love your detailed analysis as to why you love his creations.
But Q.4 is actually 4 questions. Do let me know your answers for 4b, 4c & 4d as well. Now, am more intrigued to know what they might be. 😀
Of course they’d love to meet you, if they they knew about you. And forget these two meeting you; with your intellect and open minded, progressive, attitudes; I’d love to meet you!! Ha!!
By the way, I found you on Facebook, a week or so ago, and sent you a message.
Cheers 🙂
These are excellent questions! I’d have to say all my answers lean towards Leonardo Da VInci. But, specifically:
1) A Leonardo Da Vinci, because what would it be like to THINK he like did?
2) This is hard for me to answer but, as a female, I would definitely not want that massive (yet magnificent) beard.
3) I have to skip this questions because I would not want to be famous.
4) A – The helicopter, because it’s a thing of beauty.
B – I just saw “J. Edgar”, so I choose that one. He’s terrific in everything, though.
C – Annunciation – I like the virgin Mary’s reaction to the angel. Also the colours.
D – Tough one! I’m going with What’s Eating Gilbert Grape because he’s so compelling.
5) Would love to meet Da Vinci.
What a coincidence; I actually downloaded J. Edgar last month, and am thinking of watching it tonight (last movie left, from the films I downloaded last month). And What’s Eating Gilbert Grape is my favourite performance, of DiCaprio as well.
Ha!! I understand why you wouldn’t want to look like da Vinci; but you’ve already answered part of it, in the 1st question – you’d like to have his intellect.
Annunciation is truly a beautiful painting. And all his scientific artwork are amazing, including the Helicopter.
Thanks for taking part in this questionnaire!!! 🙂
Hey Ruth, I watched it late last night. Long film, it went on till way past midnight; and was totally worth it. I loved it!!
