Welcome to September 2017!!!!!
Come September, and signs of fall, with it’s colourful Autumn leaves should be taking form, on one side of the globe; whilst blossoms with a hint of Spring ought to be appearing on the other; while here in the tropics, of heaty humidity, the monotonous weather never changes, much like anything else, ever (at least never for the better).
Yet, lets welcome this new month with open arms; and let us keep hoping, against hope, that things shall improve. So, to all my fellow bloggers, wish you a great new month!!!!! 😀
So to start this month off, I have a questionnaire, related to Films, and this month of September 2017!!!
Q.1 What’s the first film that comes to your mind, when you hear the name ‘September’?
Q.2 What’s your favourite film, with ‘September’ in the title?
Q.3 Have you seen any, or are you planning to watch a, movie today, the 1st of September, Year 2017?
Q.4 Is/Are there any movie release/s, this month, wherever you reside, that you are really looking forward to?
Q.5 Is/Are there any film related function/s, this month, wherever you reside, that you are really looking forward to?
Nuwan Sen’s Film Sense

2. Until September
3.Wind River
4. I’m really enjoying the tv series, “Feud” starring Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon.
5. Nope.
Have a fine September!
Wonderful Answers Cindy!!
I see an interesting Joan Crawford connection, between a film with her, and a TV show about her!! 🙂
Seen neither!! Actually seen none of them yet, but of course Wind River (2017), is a very recent release in USA; so it will be while since I’ll get my hands on it!!
A fine September to you too!! 😀
You’ve given me plenty to ponder in your questions. Have a great September!
Ha!! Ha!! Cheers!!! 🙂
Great questions!
1) “See you in September”, although I have never seen this film!
2) A remarkable film, although hard to call a favourite, is “Septembers of Shiraz”. Chilling and tense, but well acted and based on a true story.
3) We watched the latest “Beauty and the Beast”, which I enjoyed more than I thought I would.
4) No, although the movie “Stronger” about the Boston Marathon bombing looks intriguing.
5) Sadly, no. However, I am looking forward to seeing “My Fair Lady” on the big screen in October. 🙂
Wow!!! I haven’t even heard of See You in September, the other one sounds more familiar. But seen neither!!
Interesting list be the way!!!
I’ve never really thought of September being a film month, though it is by birth month. October Sky is far more powerful. Autumn in New York would come to mind though.
Autumn in New York (2000) is a movie that came to my mind too, but what a cheesy movie that was, it’s an OK flick!!!
October Sky (1999) with a young Gyllenhaal, is a movie I know of; but I doubt I’ve seen it. Anyway I didn’t know who Jake Gyllenhaal was back in the 90’s.
And a very Happy Birthday to you, in advance!!! 😀
